Self dimming incandescent lamps, they're still here...
« on: October 08, 2005, 11:05:08 pm »
Spotted one in Maplin today, and couldn't resist.? I've had a rather horrible week, so decided retail therapy was in order.? So bought a light bulb.? Think that's when you know you've got the bug real bad...

So, anyone else seen one of these, or anything familiar?? They tried to invade Aberdeen in the mid 90s, but disappeared a couple of months after appearing, and at the time were rather expensive as I recall (though, granted, I was about 10 at the time), no idea about what happened further afield though.

Thought it was worth adding to the collection at that price though.
